Class Offerings
KIDS CLAY - 3rd to 5th Grade - Tuesdays, 3:15 - 5:00
Students will learn the basics of making objects out of clay, and will learn how glazes and other surface treatments work to turn mud to stone, and into beautiful works of art. Everyone will leave this class with several finished functional, and/or sculptural objects. This class is limited to six students.
Drop-off is from 3:15-3:30, with a walking pick-up from Union Elementary School to Green House Pottery at dismissal. $325

HAND-BUILDING FOR ADULTS - Beginner through Professional

This class will serve as an introduction to clay, the hand-building process, and the studio. Over the course of 10 weeks, we will explore the basics of hand-building and will work with tools, stamps, and slips to create interesting and beautiful forms. This class is limited to six students, and is a pre-requisite and foundational course or anyone interested in taking wheel-throwing or advancing in claystudies at Green House Pottery. In addition to class time, students will have access to the studio from 10:00am – 12:30 on Thursdays. $350
